What is the best option for upgrading to leather seats for a fabric seat 07 4Runner?

I figure someone here has done this and I don't know where to start.

Thanks:popcorn:

Find an automotive upholstery shop. They do this all the time. Not specifically with 4Runners- but with all types of vehicles. When I sold new cars (for about 5 minutes in 1998) I once arranged for the interior of a Mercury Cougar to be changed to leather because it wasn't offered in the color combo the buyer wanted. It came back looking OEM. Seems like it was $1200 in 1998 dollars.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen sellers on ebay offering factory toyota leather coverings. Think it is or just what any upholstrey shop has?

I got quoted something like 1600-1800 for black leather last year in Tallahassee. If you do end up doing it, save the driver's seat fabric that you take off and I'll buy it off you. A cigarette cherry went through mine.

I'm hoping I can get my driver's seat in my 01 4Runner redone(leather) All the other leather seating is perfect. The local dealer quoted me $1600 for a new drivers sear. Ouch.

I can search a lot of junkyards for 1600 bucks. I love the 4runner seats but the wife would like them to be leather. I bought a complete set of all three rows of FJ80 seats in great condition for 200 bucks at my local yard. Its easy when stuff is over 10 years old. These new ones are hard to find parts for at resonable prices.
