Central Oregon Cruisers Club Fundraiser- Swap Meet/BBQ/Show 'N Shine @ Columbia Overland- Aug 13, 2011


This will be our first ever club fundraiser event. In cooperation with Columbia Overland, we plan to host a 4x4 parts swap meet, there will be BBQ, demos, a show 'n shine event, as well as a raffle. This will be an all-day event, 10:00 am till 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 13th, 2011, at Columbia Overland. There will be 4x4's of all kinds, vendors, good food, etc. More details to follow...

Rad. We would love to see you guys venture up this way for the event. We may even be able to throw together a trail ride of some sort on that Sunday if folks are interested. Its a great time of year to check out Central Oregon.

We have a few vendors currently confirmed for this event as well as some businesses donating raffle items, etc.

ARB plans to have a booth and also to donate raffle items...
All Pro Off Road is sending some raffle items...
Toyota of Bend will provide a raffle item and may bring down their restored FJ45 pickup and FJ40...

Right on Jay! Nice meeting you. Now when to we get to see that ugly pig of yours? Does it run and stop yet? Did you finish the disc brake swap?!

Jay- Rad! Can't wait to see your pig. Let me know if you need anything at all... Wait, you work for Justin?! He's one of my best friends.

Ty- There are all sorts of spots to camp for free or for a little bit o' cash. Depends how far out of town you want to stay and what your needs are. If it were me, I would try to camp someplace cool up the Cascades Lakes Highway just west of Bend. That way, you can enjoy the camping/lakes, mountains, etc.

Devil's Lake or Spark's Lake would be closest and rad. You could always camp off-highway up Cascades Lakes Highway, or Skyliner's Road, or out east on forest or BLM land. I can get you more specifics...

You can always stay at Tumalo State Park for a fee. They have tent sites, RV sites, yurts, etc. Its by the river and family oriented.
