center locked in high, how fast can you go without drivetrain damage?

Just did my center differential lock switch mod, I was wondering how fast can you go (speed) with the center locked in high without damaging any drivtrain components, also how about locked in high with front and rear lockers on?

no true speed limit, it more about diffrence in RPM left to right and front to back and traction of the road surface than speed,

the front and rear will not lock above a certain speed ( I forget, 10mph?) after locking they will stay locked no matter of speed, the center will lock at any speed IIRC

never lock any of them on paved surfaces.

steering will be odd especially with the front locked, so keep at a safe speed for the conditions,

basically only lock them when needed and to test/excersize them monthly or so.

I guess that if you need you CDL on the highway then conditions must be bad because the viscous coupling is usually better in most conditions, and then locked or not then common sense must prevail or a trip off the road may follow as the laws of friction don’t know much about lockers. If the surface has good friction then locking up is likely to cause wind up things pretty quickly especially with the front and rear locked as well and steering will be poor so not a good idea especially at speed. I suppose diving rough forest tracks at speed with the CDL on is OK, but always tended to switch the CDL on and off in Landover’s to see what gave the best feeling of security.
