CDL issues

I searched Google and looked at the other threads here already. went out on a back road ride last night and hit the CDL switch and nothing happens in both high and low this morning turned the key to the on position and didn't hear anything from in side or out side the car diff fuss is good checked it so where is the relay any help would be appreciated

Are you saying no dash lights, everything dead?

Yes nothing on dash but atrac did kick on in a couple spot during the night

To be clear ( I'm a bit foggy here) while driving last night CDL light not coming on. Then this morning no power to anything when key turned to on (all systems dead; No horn, headlights or dome light) not even a dash light?

No sorry for the confusion just the CDL is the issue everything else is good

Atrac light coming on makes me think your CDL did lock, possible light is out.

What did you expect to hear?

On one of the threads here it said try to push the button and drive and check and see if you could feel a difference as it could be the switch light but their is no difference so the next step was to turn the key to the on position and see if you can hear a relay clicking but I hear nothing

When was the last time you used the CDL?

Probably 3 months ago when I bought it it has 202000 miles but all maintenance was up to date done by Toyota dealership all fluids and timing belt where done at time of purchase the CDL was sticking but I worked it in and out for a couple of weeks after I bought it and it stated working great now nothing

Let me add that when I first got it and tried the CDL it would at least flash just wouldn't engage but that was fixed but working with it as stated above

Oh I see. I've never experience the issue.

Ok I just worked it in out on soft ground on the first fix. But thanks for the information from book got it back working bad relay
