CDL Actuator Vent Tube

I am replacing the old corroded CDL actuator on my 97 with one from a 100 series. The old one has an exit port that would connect to a tube and allow for venting. From what I can see, the later model appears to have its own internal venting system and does not connect with tubing. Am I correct in this? See the two photos for the areas in question.
