I'm finally back home for good now and need to finally get these CC bushings in. Being under some time constraints, I'm looking for a east valley or scottsdale shop to get them installed quick and cheap. Of course they need to know what they're doing.

I seem to have developed a front wheel vibration at about 60 and especially around curves at speed. I've had the wheels balanced and figured can't diagnose much more until the beast is aligned correctly. I plan to jack it up and do the wheel wiggle and then check the preload. Steering wheel has slight shimmy (assume bad alignment) so I figure more suspension than steering.

Thanks

4 wheelers supply does them for 100 bucks. Drive in drive out.

Have never done cc bushings before, but I do have a press. If you know how they go in, you are welcome to use my press. I am in south Chandler, Cooper & Riggs.

Thanks. PM me with some contact info.

I had Jason at TruckWerks do mine. I'm happy enough. I brought in the arms all marked. Rust was involved. I'm glad I didn't try it myself.

What did he charge you?

I have never done a cc bushing replacement, but I had a tool made to press the bushings out and the new one in. You are welcome to borrow it. I also have a press if you are interested. I live in NE phoenix/Scottsdale border area.:)

Got the bushings in (thanks Kevin!) and I have to tell you, it really does make a difference wuth the OME mediums contrary to what people may claim. I'm not saying that it was that bad before hand, but it is worth the trouble.

WOW, it worked?:eek::eek:

Reduced left / right pull when braking a bunch. Doesn't follow road imperfections as much.

Cuts through tin cans and are still good enough to cut through that tomato. ;)
