LabRak seems to be completely out and I'm in need of one! I bought the Gamiviti front fender mount but now I'm thinking of going with a rear mount. Anyone have an idea of who's selling them? And who's running an antenna up front and why?

Thanks

I use one of these at the rear.

FireStik SS-204A Adjustable stainless steel vertical door jamb mount https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000X3EQ3G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_2-R0xbESS9NDT

With a little massaging, I mounted it where a labrak mount would go without any drilling.

If you really want a labrak mount, I believe cruiserparts.net also sells them.
I used one of those too. Mounted just below tail light. Can still pull out light and access everything only issue was having to drill into it. But a 5' whip reaches up just high enough

Turned out ok for a $15 mount.

I used this from my previous 3rd gen 4runner, I just had to cut off about 1'' of the inner bracket, otherwise its very sturdy and durable.

Insain Fab 3rd gen Antenna Mount

Awesome....glad I started this thread, at $15 im definitely picking one up......thanks.

I've got a clean Labrak passenger side mount I'd sell for $70 shipped if anyone needs it. Haven't even installed an antenna on it yet.

Hi @reznunt

Do you still have the Labrak mount for sale? They still appear to be scarce ...

Thanks

that's exactly what I use on my 80 series. In fact I have one on both sides. One for the CB and one for my Whip flag when I hit the dunes. They would work really well as an Aux light mount too. I'll be adding 2 of them to my 100 soon.

Scarce?

Not planning on it at this time. 2 for my LX and 2 for my son's LC.

Ah jeez. You got me all excited.
I just finished bending and chopping the Insain Fab 4Runner bracket to fit my LX--took more effort and tweaking than anticipated. Not a great fit without some bending. Labrak needs to make more 100-series brackets.

Re: The Insain Fab 4Runner antenna mount mentioned above, I found it needed a bit more than just a little trimmimg of the body mount tab. It interfered with my lift gate until I put a pretty specific bend in it. Also, after all the trimming and bending, I just kept going until it ended up more low profile like the LabRak mount that I originally wanted.
:hillbilly:

Ran the antenna coax down and under the body, then made a grommet out of a pass-through beneath and behind the rear bumper so I didn't have to pinch it through the tailgate weather seal.
