CB Radio Mount Location (1 Viewer)

Have a KZJ78, wondering where folks have mounted their CB radios. I haven't found a good place to mount mine.

Any photos would help.

I take it that you’re not running a brushbar?

Using an ARB bumper

Both my HAM and my GMRS are mounted on the brushbar. Seem to work well there.

I just assumed you were talking about antennas.

I don't know what you have in your 78 for internal bracing but my troopy has those steel internal supports. As luck would have it, when I got it there were two threaded holes that exactly matched the carrier bracket on the radio I bought. So there it hangs, solid as a rock. Others do well with Tuffy or Smitty consoles that can hold radios outside or inside the console box. My dash has the extra fuel tank gauge and some temp sensors on it so no real estate there really. Check out the radio/commo section for other ideas.
