We are going to have our annual GSMTR tune-up ride to the sand mine on Saturday, April 2. The goal this year is to go in at Caryville and run the full trail up to the Oneida exit. Hopefully this will be a good "shakedown" run and not a "breakdown" run, i.e. Jordan . We will sort out the meeting time and place prior to the run. Post up if you can make it. It would be great if we can get a good turnout.

If mine is together and running I would like to go. If not, I would like to catch a ride with someone.

If I don't go to Mardi Krawl the following weekend, I would love to join you guys, since I am technically an Appalachia cruiser club member! I would need to leave nashville early to meet up. Is anyone camping, or is it just a day run?

Joel that would be great if you joined us. I don't know of anyone camping, pretty much just a day run.

My goal this year is to make sure the truck is still in good working order at the end of the day! I'll check and make sure we don't have anything goin on that day, but for now count me in.

So it looks like a 3 plus hour drive for me, is it worth it? I may camp somewhere if I come ride with the club. Any ideas where I can keep my camper during the ride?

Cheers, Joel

Bump, if I come it will be for the day, long ride back at night!

Lol

Is that a compliment? Lol
I still prefer being in the woods..., but I do food development work on the side (I own a catering business)

How about we meet at the Norris Walmart at 9:30? Anyone who needs a permit can get it there. Travis, I saw your question on the other thread asking about taking a stock truck. This trail has some challenging areas that would require winching, but it would also be easy to get some body damage. So, who is in besides Corey, Joe, and I?

Of course I've got to work. It's always getting in the way of me having fun.

Well how was the ride? Any pictures? Hope everyone had a good time and there were no break downs
