I had the Raingler cargo barrier and sold it after getting the Trekboxx. The only item of note is that you'll need to hack into your quarter panel to truly mount it properly. I took a shortcut and mounted the middle sections to the ARB drawers. The cargo net itself is very high quality and does what it's supposed to.

Hack into quarter panel (cover, I presume)? Ugh, not really interested that. Did you have 200-series specific design? The description says:

"Mounts to ceiling handles and to lower seat belt bolts on wheel wells for lots of coverage in an easy to install design."

That would suggest no hacking required...

It's worth emailing Raingler (great customer service, btw) just to verify but I found that my truck did not match the mounting instructions or photos on the 200 product listing. It wasn't a huge deal as I was able to leverage the drawers but in any scenario if you'll definitely want it mounted securely. The ceiling handle mounts portion was fine but the other three mounts just didn't seem to work with my 2016. I tapped into the bottom of the drawers and the wings.

Perhaps they've updated more recently? I purchased mine in September of 2017.

I think I am going to get the net. For the time being I am not removing the jump seats, so it seems like a more flexible optiona and easier to take in/out. Besides it does not look like there are any good steel barrier that would work without drawers.

Anyone has experience with this one?

LC200 Cargo Barrier

I was keen on this and was in Brisbane a few months ago and considered carrying one back with me. In the end I passed, but I still like it. At this point I've ordered a @TrekboxX and will go with that as the barrier.

I like it, too, except the headrest mounting...

Any additional experiences, recommendations, etc?

I’ve got 3 across the second row including a rear facing. My heavy Warn bag would do some serious damage coming into the second row, as would all the other gear in the cargo area.

just curious if you have figured out a good way of securing the 2nd row seats when they are folded forward it drives me nuts that they slam forward every time i hit the brakes

These straps are built into the second row of all US market 200s.
