Couldn't remember my login for my old name but long time mudder. I've never had a 40 this new. It's a 1979 I'm trying to pull the carb it still has all the smog. I took off the intake I labeled all the lines any tips and tricks on getting it off the intake. Looks like lots of lower line I can't reach with out the carb being free? Might sound like a dumb question but I've never dealt with a 40 with smog

There's 4 studs sticking up out of the intake manifold that go thru 4 holes in the base of the carb, 4 nuts (probably 12mm) hold the carb down.
Just keep taking smog stuff off until you can get a wrench on those 4 nuts.
