If anyone knows of a crappy shaped car hauler then let me know. I got more time than money, so rehabbing one might be the way to go. I mean they get stolen out the yard anyway, so why waste too much right?

she dirty

picked up this beast at Wilhites today... 5200lb axles... 16' with 34' ramps!

Thanks! it's 82" wide... it'll hold her wide ass.
I'ma try to keep it at my house and if it don't work out then either I'll beg a friend or I'll rent a storage unit or something... already got the wheels chained up and the tongue locked down. Going to be laminating a sheet tomorrow stating that the trailer is equipped with Lo-Jack and can be tracked remotely if stolen... I'll leave it clipped on while sitting in the driveway as a deterant...
I REALLY need a place to wrench though... I NEED a shop... so living in a shop would be choice... I need to check back with those shops on old Stage Road again...

Mount a small shed on the front of the trailer, load your junk on the back, and live out of the shed. You now have a rolling shop. Park it anywhere, say the upper end of the Walmart parking lot, and you're set. WM can provide all the basic necessities and by snaking a couple of hundred feet of extension cord into the building you'll have power.

that would be crazy.

already asked walmart, they said no.

nice trailer.... make sure your hitch / ball / receiver is rated for all of that (trailer + loaded weight).

I have a similar trailer....

I'm going to make a few changes on mine ...over time you might have similar thoughts depending on your use.

No marker lights on the fenders, hard to see at night in the mirror, I want to fab up a place on the neck of the trailer for a tool box mount, also will add spare tire mounts, and I want to change the ramps to the type that stow under the trailer and then hang off the rear for loading.

I bought a lock that attaches to the trailer tongue as a theft deterent (it makes it impossible to for the trailer to be mated with the ball)....but its only a deterent as I think a few good licks with a BFH would most likely gain entry.

The shed on the front of the trailer is a great idea. When you get tired of the neighborhood move behind the auto parts store. No more property tax. You can spend it on zip ties and duct tape.

Great, now maybe they'll get another one of these with the heavy fenders in! Were they willing to deal or did they stick to their price. I've bought parts from them and never a trailer but in the market for one.

Ed! Were you the one that ordered this one?!
I'd like to think they gave me a deal. It was definitely the cheapest 5200# axle trailer I've ever seen on a dealer lot!~

This looks to not be in need of any rehabbing, I hope you stole it from the dealership since

I had gathered the doll hairs to purchase toothankles trailer that he recently purchased. He was offering for sale... but I knew it would soon be off the market like everything thing else he and his friend's have ever tried selling, so I went to wilhites to see what they had. That was Friday.
Saw this trailer, they gave me the story, gave me the price, it's definitely the lowest priced trailer I've ever seen with 5200# axles, like half the price. went to my CU: told them here's what I have, here's the value, here's what they're asking, here's what I need. They immediately wanted to give me a signature loan for the difference. But i wanted a lower rate so I waited until Monday for them to do the paper work on a leaned loan on the trailer with virtually no interest. So I've got a 12 month loan at my CU that I'm paying pennies on... I love CU's. Give the middel fangers to banks!

No, didn't order it but I'd been eyeing a similar one they had with a bit heavier fenders. About the time I convinced myself I needed it, it was sold. Thought I was done hauling cars and crap so gave away my last old trailer a couple of years ago. But I've since found myself borrowing trailers so in the market.

borrow this one any time. just let me know!
