If no one has carfax or you run out of time, search Carfax on Craigslist, they'll sell you one for 2-3 bucks.

Search carfax in the service section instead of the for sale section.

Carfax can be hit or miss on service records. I recently sold my Dad's 7-yr-old Pilot to Drivers Way. It had always been serviced at the dealer without exception. Yet, the Carfax report generated by the buyer reflected very few of those dealer service records. It did however reflect every annual state emissions inspection performed at a local tire shop!

Yeah I did the lexus website records but they stopped at 2010. Also, the timing belt and water pump have not been changed yet and it has 135K miles. He is asking $8400 for it currently seems about right but the cost to do the timing belt and pump seems like it should be lower.
Has anyone use similar carfax service lately? Just curious what is the turnaround time? I paid this guy via Paypal yesterday, and he has not claim the money. I find an SC430 that I am interested in but want to check the history before I make the drive to see the car.
I've done it before, got the report in 15 minutes, then they requested payment.
Update - In case anyone need car fax in the future. I just got mine. Turn around time is about 24 hr for me.
