Cant get to 'MUD though ih8mud.com?

Has anyone run into the problem where if you type in IH8Mud.com it comes up from a bunch of random characters? I can bypass this by going ih8mud.com/private.php or a different thread just can not get to the home page.

I had this happen on my other computer as well.

It did not do this only laptop yesterday thou...

One other member noted a similar issue a week ago...I've been unable to duplicate, or find any reason for it to occur...

I just went through a week of problems where I could get to Muds home page but not their forum page. I could use the "Jump drop down menu at the bottom of the page" and get to any mud site I wanted. I also had the same problems with craigs list so I knew it wasn't a mud problem. I finally had a tech come out and after a little magic I deleted all my cookies and started over. No problems. I doubt that this will help you but it's easy and worked for me.

yes...noticed this while using firefox browser but not when using MS Explorer.

I have a shortcut on my desktop for Your Online Offroad Resource – IH8MUD.com using firefox... and I see the above recently ...not every time but at times...what I've referred to as corrupted fonts.

ditched the referral code stuff...should not display the added characters anymore..."guessing" it was causing the glitch...will research more this evening...

had all the plugins/additions disabled...have re-enabled the necessary ones....hopefully none of these re-broke it

I get this problem as well.

I normally open up the home page and it opens but the section of the page (middle left side) that normally has the Profitt's story shows as "unable to open this page". The IH8MUD Forums link in the middle right box works though.
