So recently my fj80 started acting up weird, when it warms up going on the highway for example, when I press the accelerator pedal it almost dies at first and then I’m guessing because of the moving momentum it slowly starts accelerating. When this starts happening when if I put it in reverse it dies completely, if anyone has any info on this it would really be appreciated, I’ve changed the fuel filter which didn’t help much, I’m thinking it’s the fuel pump but can’t find the part or right part number anywhere, thx!

There are many other things that could be wrong, test don't guess! what's your fuel pressure?

Put a multimeter on your pump and make sure it is working before you start going down the rabbit hole of replacing stuff.
How would I do that, take the seats out and open the lid to get to the pump or is there an easier way?

How do I check that?
connect a fuel injection pressure gauge, tee it in before you fuel rail. take a reading at idle and high engine load. factory service manual is even more specific and spells out the correct pressures.
