It is official, I am moving continents. Sadly, that means that I must say goodbye to my most loyal and faithful Cruiser. This car has been everywhere with me and done everything (although, I will admit to being a softy and never took it off-road)
1997 dark green, grey leather, 265,000K, best ever car, only two owners, no accidents although I did park it a little TOOOO close in the front once, NW suburbs. $3200 Please send an email if interested to unifordinner2003@yahoo.com
BTW-- just exactly what does FS stand for? I just chose the first one!

First off, FS is for sale.

1. 97 fzj?
2. Where

You do know this look fishy on the surface, right?

It almost looks like one of those craigslist ads with only an e-mail.

Don't mean to offend if it's legit, but, buyer beware.

No, it is for real, I'm not some scam artist, and you guys can bid it up where it belongs. As for lockers, honestly what are those? If they didn't come with it from the factory, I didn't put them on.
And yes, I am sad to sell it. Life is like that sometimes.

Ifn anyone is interested in an up close look I will be in Chicago this week on business. I may go and take a look regardless...

Yes, it does.
I am traveling at the moment, but photos to follow asap.
Thanks everyone for your patience with me about not knowing much
about the technical aspects of my car.

This is so obviously a scam. Let me guess, you can't show the "car" to someone directly as you are "travelling" but you can send it to them via shipping company.

I don't know what to tell you guys. This is not a scam. I am a 48 yr old woman who is moving to South America. I live in Harvard, Illinois and have for a long while. I don't know crap about my car except that I love it and would rather move it with me, but the shipping is too much. I know that I was T-boned in my '96 LC by a '78 Cadillac, when I was driving home from taking my kids to pre-school, was flipped upside down and skidded 50 yards down the road. Everyone thought we were DEAD, like DEAD. My baby and I crawled out of that car, the roof held, even though the car was 100% totaled. Do I need to say more about why I have only had LCruisers my whole life? That and the fact that they go 400,000 miles and then keep going. Sorry if you don't believe me. The photos of my car will be up soon and someone else said he would be in town. If he manages to get to Harvard, then I guess you can ask him if I am a scam.

Yesterday, to sell my car. Would like to find someone who will appreciate it. Have a friend who refits/rebuilds LCs and then drives them over big rocks. Thought someone like that would appreciate my car and found your group. So I joined to see if anyone would be interested. Seems like a lot of people.

I don't know if this is a scam but I first joined just to sell my 40 and honestly I was about as dumb as a box of rocks!

Maybe some pics will show up soon and hopefully that one gentleman will be able to go see it in person or someone else possibly in the area that has credit here on MUD. :D

To the OP (original poster)... GLWS (good luck with sale)!

Sent from deep in the mountains of Honduras using only sticks and rocks.

Thank you Daniel.
Everyone, here are some photos of my car.

None for who had it before me. Bought it from a dealer in Chicago with about 40,000 miles on it. I never kept any, but did oil at every 2500 miles, the rest as needed it -- meaning belts, rotors that kind of stuff. No major overhauls ever or any accidents.

So this isn't the cruiser you were t boned in?

op said total loss accident was in a 96 and is listing a 97 that does not look to be T-boned, totaled or to have skidded on roof.

No, that was a totally different car. It was TOTALED. When I got to the yard, where they towed it after the crash, to identify it, the guy said I am so sorry for your loss. I said ??? I was driving. He said, Amazing. What I did do was go right back out and buy another one. I have had 4 in my life. Telling you, I could be and would be an advertisement for LCs. These things are tanks and go forever. I understand why you guys love them---- enough to have a website about it.
