dame 45, 47s, 75s and 79s.
I hate that I cannot find a 75 or a 79 around me.

Nice. I noticed a couple of 70 series while watching Machine Gun Preacher last night:

The lack of leg room is really not a big deal on a standard 75 Series. After a couple of weeks you actually get accustomed to the leg cramps and having the steering wheel under your chin.

As cool as 45 and 75 series pickups are, this is why I no longer own one...Cool to own and look at, but painful to me to drive for any distance.

me, i like the 75 and the 45 and i am not a little guy ...
a 40 is tight like the 45 due to the wheel well

of course if i am driving over hour and half i would rather drive the Yaris.

Im a little over 6.2 ,so I dont have a lot of leg room in my 75 series either.
So if you cant go back ,go up.
I did this by getting a 150mm of the highest density rated foam used on lounge suites and sofas and getting a friend to cover it with a good quality cloth to make a cushion about 350mmx450mm.

Once you sit on it,it squashes down to 75mm ,but you are still 75mm further away from the pedals.
I just drove 2400 klms in the last 5 days like this, including a 7-8 hour stint today.
Not perfect, but bearable with 5 min breaks every hour or so.

A better option might to raise the seat as the 75 has plenty of headroom even when you are offroad.

Interesting. That's my dad's 1986 Fj75. He transformed it recently with a 12Ht, and I think 61 Series axles with Oem cable lockers. My dad had the cab extended to have a place to put all his photography equipment when on tour in Africa. Sadly, this truck is now up for sale, and If I could afford it, I would take it over from him..
