Can the Dec ROTM be a snow run?

Maybe 4-Peaks? (not the bar)

Saddle tramp took that run for when he is in town in Dec. I heard him mention Red Creek among some others. Depending on the weather, anything is possible.

Sounds good...

there can certainly be more than one run and there usually is with many folks having days off...I think its a good idea

I'm in for that run if you decide to have it hombres'.

OK, I'll start doing the snow-dance and watch for a response from the precipitation gods...

A earlier snow run prior would work very well. Providing we get snow within driving distance prior:rolleyes:

Listening to a Flagstaff radio station yesterday morning they were saying this was only the third time that Flagstaff hasn't had at least a inch of snow by December 1st. Also predicting rain for later this week with snow above 9,000'. Only snow in the state right now is at Snow Bowl and Sunrise. I doubt they would like you driving on the ski trails.

Right now the rifle elk hunt is going on. After that the forest service will start closing down the forest in the high country. In years past the Christmas Tree cutting area around Happy Jack was about in the middle between highways 87 & 260 north of the FS road 300. This allowed to get back into the forest. This year that has changed to around the junction of highways 87 and 260 about ten miles south of Clint's Well.

I went snow wheeling this evening coming home from work. The wilds of Toronto, immigrants from all over the world driving in snow for the first time. Even with two inches, the people from far off places like Arizona just don't seem to get the hang of it. Thank goodness for ATRAC. Crappy ipad picture from one minute ago

^^^ Are those your footsteps after you decided to get out and pre-walk the path to the garage, or your spotter? (J/K!)

Walking the path before you drive it, checking depth because I don't have a snorkel.

"walking the path looking for chicks that dig it, wishing I had a snorkle"

fixed it for you!

I only have next weekend (13th & 14th) available, then I'm off to Colorado through year's end. If it snows before then, I promise to take the kids sledding ;)
