I have 285 / 55 / R20 on my LC. I have OEM 20" rims (JDM import rims).

Can I go up one size without lift? Looking at Nitto Terra Grapplers.

I tried to look at the friggin database. I am not good at math, algebra, geometry, or spreadsheets, among other things.

285/60R20 is around a 33.5" tire. You'll probably get rubbing around the front mudflaps and the back of the front bumper/fender liner. You could probably remove the front mudflaps and do some trimming as well as some massaging with a heat gun to get those to fit and not rub. You are dangerously close to a true 34" tire, so you could have some of the problems described in this thread 34's on stock setup - it's done, now some advice...

A 275/60 would fill the wells nicely. It’s 33” and doesn’t rub on my LX even in low mode. IDK if you’re looking to get into an LT or not. If you’re not off-roading around sharp rocks there’s some real advantages to a lighter XL tire...

Thank you. I prefer the wider 285s. This is helpful. I’ll take a look at your LX for pics.
