Made for the US market, purchased in the US, still here in the good old U S of A :grinpimp:

Maybe it's just the 2013 models that have these features?

Oh didnt even think about the year :P

That must be it. Mine is a 2008....

Time to buy a new cruiser dtt255

Not a chance....not a chance in hell....

"She may not look like much but she's got it where it counts, kid."

At this point, you would be better off replacing the head unit...you do have a very sharp looking rig.

I saw a pic of yours on the total chaos website. Is yours also the one on the Baja Rack site?

Yes that is mine on both sites.

I cannot see a reason to spend that amount of money on a new head unit at this point. Plus who knows if the computer system on mine is even compatible with that head unit etc. I honestly don't trust a dealer to even know that...not with my experience with dealers and LC's.

I am wondering if anyone has had success with these 'dealer programming options' on the west coast. Has anyone found a dealer that would be willing to adjust these options? Some people say that dealers wont do it because of safety reasons.

Also anyone run into a LIST OF DEALER PROGRAMMING OPTIONS? For instance:
1. DRL off/on
2. seatbelt chime off/on

My experience is that the dealership will not do anything at all that increases their liability. Both of the settings above would be a 'no no' around here.

There are lots of other settings they will change, however. I had them change the
sensitivity of my auto-on head lamps to a more sensitive setting. From the factory it was almost dark before my lights came on - so dark I couldn't read my dashboard.

AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for this. Those ugly Yellow lights are now Off.... The ONLY thing now is how to turn on ONLY the LED parking lights. Those would be much better as DRL's

My US-model 2013 has the same screens as gaijin's screen shots. It must be '13 model difference from earlier 200s.

It's ok I didn't want no stupid 'setup' button anyhow!!:p

Good News. I randomly found a dealer in LA 'Norwalk Toyota,' and while they were updating the computers firmware for a recall, I requested that they turn off the DRL. They did! No more DRL!

Do the newer US Cruiser's 2014/2015 get the LED's as daytime running lights?

On my 200 my LED's are the day time running lights and i can turn it off from the light switch ( DRL OFF )
This was standard on the GCC Spec Cruiser's with the newer updated lights from MY2014 onwards.

anyone figure out how to use the LED as DRLs on the 2013+ 200s?

In AUTO mode

-LEDs are on full bright all the time when car is on
-LEDs turn to half bright when low beams HIDs are on
-LEDs turn off when headlights in off mode or engine not running

love how on the 13+ you can turn the ugly halogen DRLs off via center navi.

Confirming here as well, my U.S Spec 14 screen looks the same as gaijins as well. I can also turn off DRL as well using the method mentioned above.

There was no 2012 Model Year for the LC here in the U.S. 2011 production ended, 2013 production started.

What's your point o_O
