How about the 12th-13th of december, the place will depend on the group size, I have a few places in mind (I'm thinking vehicle dependent expedition camping)
I like the weekend of the 12th. The 5th we're with GACruisers in ATL and the 20th is too late.

Ok, let's plan on the weekend of the 12th. I did some trail riding this weekend above Jocassee and Gorges state park, this looks like a good area and is relatively close by. I'll be solo as well, unless the global warming thing kicks in

As much as I hate to start something and then cancel, that is what I'm doing. December is just too busy to go camping. The area above Jocassee is only open to vehicles during deer and turkey seasons, that is why I picked December maybe we can plan on next fall some time as the spring UC calendar is already filling up.
