Hi, folks.
Two friends (married couple) are passing through Alb tonight, and need a camp site in/around Alb.

Been a while since I've car camped around here - any (safe) suggestions?
They're in a roof top tent on a bantam-like trailer

The KOA is a safe bet, nothing special but close to everything and full service. Are they heading home from the Expo in Flag?

There is a CG in Cedar Crest, don't really know much about it but notice the tent symbol every time I drive by. It's rather windy up here though!

They can also find a place in the Cedro peak trail system which is part of the Cibola forest, easy access off I40 and Cedar Crest or Zuzax exits.

Have them call me if they need more guidance. 505 206 99 nine two

There's a KOA in Bernalillo and both Sandia Lakes and Isleta Lakes have campgrounds.

Thanks, guys!
Looks like I may have this solved.. friend with a vacant rental house. It'll keep them out of the wind.
Good info none the less... I need to check out some places, as this has come up before and I'd like to have a better answer about what is good and what is not so good

People Camp along 165 just past the Sandia Man Cave...

Soooo, this chick I met at the REI garage sale, told me that she stayed at this place and it has good reviews: http://www.turquoisetrailcampground.com/

She was hot, hot hot.....told her that she can pitch a tent in my back yard the next time.
