Camp food?

Pre-cook some big cubes of steak. When at camp, combine with onions, potatos, peas, or whatever, then wrap in foil and cook over the fire.

Upscale hobo potatos.

Prep it at home and save the hassle on the trail

If you catch trout, make some fish quesadillas.
uncooked quesadilla in the hot skillet, heat on both sides , spread cheese, fish pieces, peppers, jalapenos, onions... on half, fold together, cook on both sides till the cheese melts and the quesadillas get browned.

A little fish goes a long way.

Damn that looks good. Costco rack?

Utensils optional. I like that.

We grilled those chops not too far from you...just north of the Wildcat guard/ranger station.

These are Desert Bighorn chunks skewered on rosemary branches from our spring Death Valley trip. Another forkless meal :D

Did you end up in Jarbidge? Outdoor Inn? I wish I had some desert sheep to cook, that is some good stuff.

tasty tho..

And I absolutely HATE it when people use rosemary as a "spike" wayy too overpowering IMHO
