Calling stereo gurus

04 lx mark levinson stereo. When I initially start car up/turn accessories on radio has sound for split second before completely going out. Head unit still works just no sound from speakers not even a beep when I press a button. What could it be. Amp? Or someone's cause

Sounds like your amp, I have a 2000 and j switched out all my Nakimichi for a pioneer in dash and put a new alpine 4 channel amp with speakers and it's the best sounding system I've ever heard to be honest

Point being you may be happier with replacing the whole setup rather than just the amp

If you have factory nav you'll need the factory amp. That or you'll need to change out your HVAC controls for the non integrated version.

Thanks guys, yeah I have the factory nav so I guess I'll send it out to rebuild it. I hear a new ML amp isn't cheap
