I moved to VB, live off Atlantic and am getting settled into the area. would love to meet up with some like minded Cruiserheads.
Btw, just saw an awesome green fj40 (maybe a 72-73) going down Atlantic the other morning. I was the green fJ60.
Anyhow, if there are ever meets or trail ventures or local wrenching sessions please count me in on the contact list!! Two zero One four zero four one five zero zero
Where are you guys going for your mechanic work? I live in a condo, so no garage for tools and all that great stuff to do work on yourself. I heard japanese auto masters was a mentioned place, anywhere else? I would like to stop going to a dealership for all my work. I have an 03'.
I hate to say this but I have taken my 80 to First Team Toyota on Western Branch Blvd and have ZERO complaints. I will take it back.... Ask for Nick.
I will still do my own oil changes ect. If you are looking for aftermarket upgrades, they will not touch that....but for general maint I wouldnt hesitate in taking mine in again.
HULK- I don't know either seems like there is some interest.... I am a recent Jeep covert and am looking for other LC 'ers to do stuff with ... Wrenching / wheeling ect
I am down for whatever....
TROMZ - Priority Toyota? Would seem like a good local meeting place, does anyone have a contact there? Agreed wrenching alone sucks....especially when you are like me.... I don't mind getting my hands dirty, but I am most appreciative of ANYONE who has more knowledge than I do! Where is Devil's Backbone? I wouldn't mind a quick weekender either..... Spring or otherwise.
I am considering trying to hit the WESTERN Edition of the OVERLAND EXPEDITION EXPO in AZ this spring , now that would be a sweet trip if we could be 3 or 4 cruisers headed out there.
Hmm Sammy where you located? I just know the parts guy and one of the service managers due to Erin's Prius. I'm sure there's a contact person somewhere. There's always room about the place. I imagine they like us die hards promoting their business.
As far as trips I try to make it to gsmtr every year if possible. Other than that no where to go and no one to tag along. Uwharrie a time or two.
Might wrench sat. Depends on weather and how I feel. Need to change valve cover gasket. Oil filter and that little donut gasket on the front. Oil pump gasket but that looks pita

Hey, Noel I sold my Tacoma about a month ago, and man that was an easy sell. I got more then bluebook. I have tried to sell my 100 for less then blue book and having a hard time. It's crazy that the Taco is so popular. I had people calling from all over. Had to upgrade to a tundra for towing.
