I am thinking of going up as well. This event sounds like it will be one not to miss. If I do go, I will be camping out.

Tim, We decided to leave about 9 or 10 am from Murrieta Friday if you want to caravan. We'll be traveling the slow lane.

www.calicocleanup.com has been updated with some common courtesy rules and safety issues that will assure everyone will have a good time while helping out during this event.

We just past our 400+volunteer sign up and we have 180 rigs participating. The bulk of the sign up's are from Toyota owners. BLM is super excited and looking forward to working right along side us-the off road community to clean up Calico.

I got the OK so the little one and I are coming. I tell you the crap I get around here for being a Toyota fan can be brutal. I sent and e-mail to all of the off-road editor's here at PRIMEDIA letting them know about it. One whose name I won't reveal said in gist and I quote, "Isn’t a Landcruiser trash pickup day a contradiction in terms?"

Took me a minute or two to respond with, "They approached several Jeep clubs to help sponsor the event but unfortunately none of their vehicles were running."
