Likewise... So Ca TLCA was there and I am certain that any of our members would have been willing to help out but as far as I know no one in our group even knew about the problem...

I asked two small groups, with the first being some I know that didn't have winches, so now big deal there. After the 2nd try I went straight to the staging area. I didn't mean to take a stab at the whole crowd, as everyone I meet at any cruiser events are always more than helpful, I've just never been involved in any 4 wheeling where the first person you ask for assitance doesn't jump up. So don't take it that way, the only blame goes to driver error, lack of patience, and putting too much trust into equipment. Organization of the event was pretty damn good for a first time event with that many participants. Some people really went out of their way, I think the 5 or 6 rolloffs of trash spoke for that.

I was tail gunner in our small group, making sure we all made it out since 1 vehicle was having problems. When I followed everyone in I was not aware of any red posts, otherwise I wouldn't have went in there. The terrain in Calico is such that when you start a trail, erosion keeps building it from that point.

Now back to pictures.

I also would like to thank the organizers of this event. It was fun to hang out with so many cruiser heads and do something good at the same time. I also left Odessa canyon with a few new battle scars.

Yeah I caught a snow blizzard going through techehechapi pass at 8AM - it was kind of scarry. left mule canyon at circa oh-507 hundred hours, forgot to air up, pulled over on rocket site road and aired up with the compressor
