Finally got to the diffs today. Front diff fluid was darker than the rear, and the magnet had some build up! All plugs replaced with wits end so the next time should go faster.

well I took 3PO out on his first “loaded” adventure... all I-35 with this trailer, mostly loaded with household goods. Averaged 13mpg over 250mi. Temps got up to 203 a couple times.

Just added this to my watch list. I've been dreading roof rack removal work, but it will have to happen. Thanks for sharing!

Honestly it hasn’t been that bad. Dropping the headliner was annoying. Not hard, just tedious. I’m getting the holes welded up and painted, I drilled out the nutserts and luckily there’s no rust to worry about. I highly recommend the “monofilament saw technique” when it comes to removing the rubber track pieces under the metal ribs.

Thanks. My 80 is from 93, and all accounts of dropping the headliner appear to be advising against it. So I may end up going the JD welt route.
