Anyone want to throw some logic my way on running C range tires with a heavy 100 series . Is this no good as we start pushing these weights?
- My truck weighs in just under 7000 lbs loaded up. Probably not ever much heavier but never much less than 6300lbs
- C range tires are rated for 2700lbs
So does this put me too close to the limit? I've ran them for a season or two cruising locally and its been just fine but I've got a 3k mile road trip up north coming soon. I wanted to run my studded tires but thinking I may be better off just keeping the E-rated KO2s installed

I wonder if I should doubt these numbers? It does seem a bit heavy, maybe i wasn't positioned right on the scale pad, I think it was meant for big trucks..... Stock weight is 5,115lbs....Hard to see how I could possibly add so much weight but maybe..... Front and rear bumpers, swing outs, water, fuel , sleeping platform, roof rack, winch ...hmmmm I need to go find a scale nearby and verify
