If I do this will be doing a few things for him before I deliver it. ;) I am getting the TRD sports package etc. tow package etc, etc has the sport seats with lumbar are they comfy/ good ?? 6 cyl of course with automatic.
Is there a good aftermarket muffler that sounds good but not too loud on these? Vent visors stick on or in channel ?
no I am not rich, his father died during a simple operation so they received some money and one of the things his father wanted to do after his surgery was to get him a nice daily driver.

any suggestions will be appreciated

Tom

Sport seats are comfy. Could just get a magnaflow or some such muffler, unless you want a cat-back system, the Jardine gets good reviews on Toyota Nation, and the in channel I hear is the way to go.

:)

Condolences to his family for the loss. That really sucks.

How old (young) is he? Most of the younger guys will not mind harsher seats. The sport seats are good. If he's into 4-wheeling at all, I'd opt for the TRD Off-Road package, as it comes with a locker. The TRD Sport comes with LSD. I found the seats were pretty plush in both trim levels. Either should be a great daily driver for him.

OK didnt know or hadn't got that far yet as to the difference between TRD Off Road and TRD Sport good to know.
Hes 22 now was 20 when he lost his Dad so I've been filling in as needed and trying to make some dreams come true. Hes into 4 wheeling somewhat but has a LOT to learn, but hes listening to me. As far as the seats I am buying it here in Ohio and hes in Orlando so my 50 year old bones have to drive it down to him, really going to hate driving a new Toy all the way to Orlando and play for a week.
Thanks for the replys so far!!

I would also recommend the 6 speed instead of the Auto, but i just like clutches.

and the push button electronic locker is awesome, but the truck is pretty capable, I've only used mine once.

yeah, another vote for 6 speed. At 22 he should prefer a stick shift :D if he doesn't know how then he should learn.
