buying a 4th gen 4R

It might be time to get out of my 1997 LandCruiser (yikes!)

I like the looks of the 4th Generation 4Runner and know little about them. So if I wanted a 2007 to 2009 what are the options that where available, or what should I look for? I do plan on lifting the vehicle and I do plan to off road it.

Any info would be great.
