I have a 2000lx470. Key just turns with no resistance an car will not start. No lights come on on dash. Probably broken ignition? Anyone have a fair idea on what it should cost to fix? Will I need new keys?

Standard problem, known issue, lots of threads to be found.
Weird issue with mine the other day. The key wouldn't turn at all. The steering wheel was free and I could turn it side to side. Also with the key in the truck made the dings.
Also, for the last two months I have been having a hard time pulling the key out of the ignition.
Any thoughts ?

Well the key won't turn again. Steering wheel is free and not locked. Any ideas ?
That sounds like the lock cylinder itself has failed. Cheaper and easier than the broken actuator cam rod thing where you have to buy the whole assembly. (The rod sounds like the OP's problem.
