Bushing replacement on front leaf springs

Completed front bushing replacement on front leaf springs.
Now I need to replace the rear shackle bushings on the front leaf springs.
Question:
Can I just get the front tires off the grond and support the frame in order to swap out and replace the bushings.

You can also just put a bottle jack between the springs and frame behind the axle. Assuming that you are SOA.

Hi all,

The front axle will be supported by the tires. You do need to support the frame just behind of the spring mount before removing the fixed end spring pin (aka bolt.) Expect the old bushing to be hard to remove.

Typically put the frame on jack stands and use a jack to lower and raise axle.
