I’m looking to replace some worn out radius arm bushings and hoped to find someone who has a set of the bushing press tools. Just read up on the wits end debacle which is unfortunate. Appreciate anyone who is willing to sell or rent locally in Seattle. Thanks!

I am an hour north of you in Mount Vernon and just put brand new OEM bushings in my clean not abused arms from a 1996. Might be an option. I just went through ordering bushings and paying a machinist to put them in but ordered Delta arms. Wasted a bit of time and money, but looking to sell them to someone local. Reach out if you’re interested.

I just used a bushing press tool kit to do all my suspension bushings including the fronts. i believe it was this one.

Amazon product ASIN B075N1FRDL

had a slight misalignment on the front but even after mashing the bushing i retried it and once it slid in and aligned it was fine. Slight bend in the metal but no functional issues. The other ones were fairly easy. use heat for removal and install. Freeze the bushings before install. went fairly well. I think I cut two of the fronts out using a saw zall. use a hole saw on the rubber then take a blade to the metal. A lot easier then trying to press out. Used a HB press.

Thank you for the reply! I actually need the caster correction bushings to accommodate my lift kit. Those delta arms look sweet. GLWS

Thank you so much for the inspiration. Been on the fence with this option after reading a few threads but since time isn’t my biggest priority I think I should just suck it up and learn something. Shop quoted me more than owning the tools so I guess I will make an investment in my garage and go for it.

I just took a bushing of each size and went to Lowes. found some metal pipe fittings that worked.

I’ll close this now. Appreciate all the responses. Trail Tailor came through with the kit and it is what you need for the job
