Have read a couple of threads on folks that have fab'ed a trailing arm axle system for an off road trailer. Can anybody suggest a bushing part number that fits snugly into a given sch 40 pipe diameter? ( to be used where the trailing arm will attach to the trailer frame)

I haven't built a trailing arm setup, but I would suggest for the amount of tubing needed to make this thing happen correctly, I would look at buying some DOM tubing, then once it is in hand, measuring with a good caliper and order some bushings of the appropriate size.

McMaster-Carr has an amazing selection of bronze bushings, or poly... or whatever you end up using.

I'd suggest poking around the trailer forum over on expo, a few guys have built setups like you are looking for. Good luck.

Thanks for the leads REZARF, I'm on it
