Dang..

I recently purchased an engine from a guy and he drained all the oil before removal- I guess that is good but if you are going to store something and not disassemble then leaving the oil is advisable.

And, if you buy something used and are lucky enough to find charitable freinds who help you by installing it basically for free- Don't make assumptions about whether something has oil in it or not!!! Just check the Damn Oil !! Once again I am saved and in debt to my new freinds for helping me out. So far-so good. I had fun today, and learned alot.

Thanks Jesse!

For keeping my cruiser safe and providing a place to do the work.

nice pics.

quality carnage.

note : stupid LC t-case trickier than mini cases. comes apart in stages so those little guys can assemble them easier :p

So is that the first time you guys have worked on that Tranny-T case combo?? I'm so pleased to have provided such a quality learning experience to all. Imagine the time saved next time when we have to do it!! :D

Oh yes, and nice pics! I'm gonna have that larger gear made into a necklace to give Daphne for a Christmas present.

You did top off your fluids right???? The tranny was definitely low the couple times I drove it around the property and we didn't put all of the oil back in the engine either... :hmm:
