You know, I didn't look at it from that perspective.... Someone conveniently put the fire out before it destroyed the running gear. Heck the tires still have air in them. I wonder how many of those parts are going to have an "afterlife"

looks like the cars i see in the jersey Pine barrens. either robbed and burned by some punks, or a guy who lost it all in atlantic City, burning it for the insurance.
i once saw the carcass of a ferrari 512, complete, it was never even stripped before it was torched. I was on a Dirt bike, so i had no tools, would have taken the wheels , since the fire didnt burn down that far.
