Hiya,

I'm in the process of putting together a set of bumpers for the pig. What do you folks think is getting way heavy for a front set (with winch mount) vs a rear set (with tire carrier). Thanks, ty

I have no real idea but, my bumpers are quite stout and I'd guess the front weighs about 80lbs. and the rear probably weighs about 150 lbs or so. These are just guesses but I would think you should be able to build a stout front bumper for under 150 lbs. and a rear for under 200 lbs. Again, maybe you should listen to someone who knows what they are talking about. Any fabricators out there? Who knows better???

I would imagine my front weighs about 50-60 lbs. Its basically the stock bumper with then ends cut off and turned back onto it and the center boxed. Its stout as can be I have hit some stuff pretty hard with no problems. I have a plate to mount for the winch which I will one day get and it weighs about another 10-15. Hope thats a help.
Now show us some pics.

Will do as soon as something is built. I've got two of the rig on the owners page, ty
