Sorry for the late reply- took a mud sabbatical. My Lx is a 2015. Feel free to ask anything.
Been quite a while since this post. In hindsight…Would you still do the same bumper/configuration? Do you feel it was a good decision and it was it easy to live with and easy on the eyes? I’m thinking about having a ARB Deluxe add it to my Black 2015, LX 570.

I dont think he has this LX anymore. But you should do it

tbisaacs…thank you so much for the pic and for jumping in! I needed a little encouragement😎

What year is your LX? Looks great!

I would be having Adventure Motors here in Kansas City professionally install. ARB Deluxe part number 3425150 (2012-2015) 200 Series Land Cruiser. They are very good at it…and I am…well..not so much!😊

Any words of caution/advice? Things you might do differently etc if you had to do it again?

Probably add a 12klb come along while I’m at it.

Did you have to do anything to the front suspension to accommodate the additional weight?

Just hit another deer at about 60mph. Not a lot of damage ($3k)…and able to drive on no problem. Small doe off the right front stock bumper. Direct hit would have been different. Most likely would not have done much if anything to the ARB Deluxe front bumper. We do a lot of backcountry travel. Lotta critters in remote places, and really wanna up my chances of being able to continue our journey after an unfortunate animal strike.

I just finished my bumper install. Started it a few weeks ago. Did it mostly by myself. I went really slow on trimming the bumper. I am now trying to figure out the wiring of the ARB LED turn signals. the LX570 wires are different than the LC 200 wire diagrams, so I have been playing with the wires trying to find the correct connections. Hopefully I figure the lights out tomorrow. : )

Your trim looks professional! Well done.

I just used a scotch lock connected and tee’d into my turn signals. They are right there.

Thank you guys... and I got the lights working too. : ) I had to take a voltage tester to find the blinkers and head lights, wasn't as bad as i thought it would be.

So many people have opinions on the ARB full bar. I love it on the LX, it’s one of my favorite bumper/200 combos. Well done. More photos please. I’m really struggling with bumper decisions front and rear. I always come back to the ARB…

Same, I struggled with the decision for over a year... maybe longer. Folks kept telling me to look at Slee or Dissent and maybe another company that I cannot remember. Plus Slee has A LOT of my money already, That and Slee did a bad job on the shipment of my sliders, Sent me a bottle of touch up paint for some deep gouges that are very visible, but whatever, I moved on... I was looking at the ARB Sahara bar hard, but I kept coming back to the full bars. I can tell you that ARB knows how to wrap and ship a bumper. The bumper came from ARB in Jacksonville, FL. There were so many layers to that giant box. I was getting mad by the time i got to the third layer of packing only to realize there were more layers of packing. Plus they delivered to my house, which was a bonus.

So... My biggest fear with the full bar... the cuts on fenders. There is NOTHING on the internet about cutting up a 2013 - 2015 LX570 bumper, maybe a few pics here and there that I could study, but no one had any real details. Google struck out. So i took a bunch of pics during the install. I pulled that bumper off and put it back on probably 15 times. Measuring, taping, cutting, measuring, taping, cutting... it took a week to make the cuts. Then I had to deal with the grill. The grill I ended up butchering, but you cant really tell. I had to cut the bottom off the grill and a good bit of the sides just to clear the bars.

The lighting was not hard, but again, nothing on the internet to reference. I used the power looms for the blinkers, which also have the low beams... That was fun figuring out too, because if you look at the pics. the wires are not the same colors on the driver or passenger side. But the running lights work when you turn on the low beams and the blinkers work now and it looks really good. I am happy to help with my notes if anyone with a 2013 - 2015 wants to do this ARB bumper install.

Looks great man! I’m starting to think any 200 series bumper can be made to fit a 08-15lx with some patience and skill.

I’m debating a 2016+ ARB on a 11 lx.

Congrats of being decisive after a year. It worked out.

The main challenge is the LX nose/light protrusion is 1 to 2” longer from the frame horns. Oh and the light/grill crossmember is 1” lower. As long as you can work around these two things you’re pretty golden.
