I need about 200 ft of synthetic winch rope. I need to spool a winch and build a few soft shackles with some extra left over. I need 13-15k breaking strength. Let me know what you have.

Brian, post up in the clubhouse section, IIRCC there was a member who either had a spool or could get some.

What diameter? I’ve got some Samson Amsteel Blue. It’s sweet stuff.
I am looking for 13-16k breaking strength. I know that it is different sizes for different manufacturers for that tensile strength.

I could do a little investigation if you guys would like a mini group buy on a spool of winch rope. Need to know approximately how much each person needs so I can make sure everyone gets what they need.

I’d be spooling an 8274 I’m rebuilding. 150ft seems like a popular length. So I’d be interested in pricing for 150ft. I’m looming for something trail capable but on the budget end of the spectrum.

I have 3/8 and 7/16 12 strand Amsteel Blue. 3/8 has a minimum strength of 17600lbs and average of 19600 lbs. The 7/16 is 21.5k min and 23.9k average. The safety factor is a minimum of 5:1. I have a decent amount of both diameters. Can get eyelets, Stainless steel thimbles. Can make a good deal to you all, It’s not cheap but I‘ll work with you.

OK for those of you interested PM me, I have a supplier that is willing to sell me a spool or 1400 ft, so that is 7 lengths of 200 ft. So if I can find 6 people interested I will do it and we can all get a hell of a deal. This would be just the rope, 3/8 Dyneema, certified to 18k working strength. I don't want to post the price but it's cheap!
