built this relay for immobilizer / fuel injection non start, cranks turns over but will not start... ok after over a year of my wife having to "tap" on every relay in the fuse box under the hood of her 2001 lx470 to get it to crank/start sometimes... the "tapping" no longer worked... I built this relay in the parking garage of her office... I really have no real details it was DOS "design on site" I knew i didn't want power to the fuel injection all the time (just jumpper it)... I believe this powers what needs to be powered only when it needs... power... it has worked for 2 years and i really have no idea at this time exactly how i built and designed it or exactly what I was thinking... I just knew she wanted her LX to start when she turned the key each and every time and it was my job to see that it happened... the orange & brown wire are one and the same they just route around a couple relays to get from point a to b and change color on the way... Guess i was short on connectors and spliced 2 different color wires together... the relay is a simple 20amp relay like you would find on your remote lights... and i've used them on my tilt trim on my bass boat...

UPDATE: as a couple have requested I will try to draw a wiring diagram for this... if there is any demand I could supply these for plug and play I know I have at least 50 of these relays on a shelf somewhere...

Any update here? I'm currently chasing the issue with no definitive solution reached yet and would like to bypass the immobilizer completely.

fuse block is a multi layer stack , the innerconnecter jumper pins inside the box have fit issues , we used to dissasemble the fuse block and re pinch all the innerconnecters , time consuming but it works

I’m having trouble starting my 99 Land Cruiser on occasion also. I’ve replaced the fuel pump and the fuel filter and thinking this might be the next best thing to try, could someone supply me with one of these immobilizer bypass wiring kits….
