Well...

Option 1) for the young at heart ... It says here on feebay that it is an Alabama truck. As long as it has been south of the Mason-Dixon Line all of its life she is a keeper in my book.

At 200K+ miles she will have leaky valve covers, leaky rear main seal and birf soup.

But what the hell. Go for it. At less than $10k without lockers... You will have to drop $2k into her for the above but you will more than recover that because of the following ...

Lift = $1k
Tires = $800
ARB number = $1k

however, if you are like me and don't want to have a golden L on your key chain, then it will cost you an additional $85 to buy a j80 grill and rear badge work to de-lexus-Fi her.

The she will be as nature intended.

.... But if I had it to do all over again... Then I would go for OPTION #2...

wait patiently (I am not very disciplined) until the next 1997 locked collectors with less than 200k miles edition FROM CALIFORNIA appears in MUD or eBay or Craig's list and then I would SPEND IT !!!

Either way I would be a happy 40 year old.

Good feedback.
I shot them a lowball cash offer, so we will see what they say.
I think 2-3k in updating/maintenance and it would be a fun rig.

... Plus she looks like she has brad's BH3D printed cup holder. That means it is a former MID MEMBER so they actually took care of her. Add an additional $85.00. :)

Are you looking for a 80? I've been contemplating selling mine. 1996 LX450 225k / OME Heavy / 315s / locked / ARB. Just had service done to replace leaking main seal and valve cover was done years ago.

I don't want to sell but I just bought a boat and I need a V-8 to tow it.
