Building a jet ski trailer (1 Viewer)

Anyone seen or heard of anyone using a jetski trailer as a base for a camping trailer? I have an early to mid 90's jet ski that runs but smokes. Thinking about ditching the ski and using the trailer. Nothing crazy just a simple box and axle swap for 31" tires.

I thought about using one in the past but for the cost to buy one it wasn't cost effective, seeing that you already have the trailer depending on your needs it could be possible depending on what you want to do with it. This trailer are usually pretty light duty.

It is possible. A buddy of mine built this out of a jetski trailer. Swapped the axle, added some cross braces and added the wood sides and tent. He doesn't go far off the pavement but it could handle it with a little larger Tire.

I like that. I have yet to do anything with it. The stupid jetski runs.......
