Talking with one of our esteemed 'MUD Vendors (Paul w/ Pilgrim Restorations) about fiberglass headlight bezels WITH the "LAND CRUISER" lettering in them.

Should be able to make them about 8" narrower than stock...
headlight centerline about 22" (stock is about 30")
overall width of 31-32"

Should come in at $100 or less each.

We also discussed stamped steel, but the lead time and cost is likely prohibitive.

Post up with interest and comments :)

I wanna square :D

I could be interested. Been thinking about narrowing the front of Bugly.

Not that I'd need one - but fiberglass is so easy to mod I'd suggest making them at full width - and letting folks mod and reglass themselves, or charge a reasonable fee to do the same.

No matter $100 is a great price compared to the through the roof pricing on stamped replica's.

I have a nice glass stamped bezel replica - traded my OEM stamped one several years back for it and $100. I got a more damage tolerant piece - and someone in Kali got a decent OEM stamped steel bezel for a restoration :D.

I´ll make anything if there´s enough interest.
Prefer to make from steel, but we also do excellent fibreglass work.
email me or Pm me with ideas and thoughts and wants and needs..
Paul.

I'll take one

Holy thread revival :)

This thing is over 2 yrs old!

Nah....my brother has a hotel in Jaco and Woody and I are thinking about coming down and hanging out this summer.

Bought my first OEM steel stamped bezel in Costa Rica and brought it back in a surfboard bag. Ended up trading it for a fiberglass one and some cash many years ago - so as to ensure it went to a restoration versus a trail truck.

We've bypassed Jaco for several years now - just too busy, crazy and a few other things. What hotel does he own?

Speed traps were horrible in that area as well last year.

me likey.
