Budbuilt slider install real time help

Hey guys, installing these right now on my 2021. Anyone that DIYd this did you need to drill the exterior portion of the frame to enlarge the holes to fit BB hardware? Interior size is fine but I see no way this install will work without drilling these out. The BB install video is on an older 200 and there was no drilling required. I would call them and ask but they are closed today and I am in the midst of installing these as I type.. Many thanks!

No drilling needed. I’ve installed two sets (2013 and 2016).

They are supposed to be “no drill”, I have to believe you have something misaligned.

Did you remove all of the plastic caps over the holes?

Crisis averted. It was the plastic plugs. I was so fixated on the small holes I didn't even notice them!

It is worth the time to watch the install video on buds site before installing. Many tips that make the install easier....

The video is really well done and has some key tips that would really make this installation agonizing without them. I would have saved myself the embarrassment of creating this thread had I watched the video in advance of installation so I concur it is best practice to watch first.

Install is not too bad but it is time consuming.
