I changed the M1-M1 over the weekend and I noticed some bubbles in the oil? There was no foam to suggest water. Any ideas, I guess it could just be air bubbles, but still kind of freaky thoughts? I'm really looking for the know'd ones to say "nothing to do with the HG".

This was the first change M1 to M1 about 5K and still looked great (other than the bubbles), 10-30w.

hmmm....
wonder if M1 could turn into an alcoholic beverage if left to age properly in an 80...?

I've been told this could happen if you overfill the oil. Something to do with the crank churning the oil when the level is too high.

Bubbles in drained oil are totally normal simply due to it falling out of the drain into a pan. Oil also has a tendancy to hold small bubbles that are a normal part of turbulence in engine operation. I wouldn't worry about this at all. Water in the oil would be evidenced by a cloudy milky appearance. Overfilling would have to be pretty extreme on this large pan to have the crank arms come down and hit the oil, which is what happens. At any rate, bubbles in the oil are not indicative of a problem and certainly not an indicator of a HG problem.
