So what does everyone think of the new layout?

They use this same software on other forums. It does take a little getting used to but like Woody said, there was no support for the old software so he needed to do something. The functionality on mobile devices is a lot better.

I like it but like Ms Jean said its gonna take some time in here to catch my footing after being in the old system since 06 ;)

While I was out cruising the net I shot over to the RCV site because I heard they were selling Toyota axles direct and in fact they are. Remember that they were Bobby Long's manufacturer. Here is what they have on their Toyota page and I figured it was worth sharing...

RCV - Toyota Axle Shafts said:
RCV Performance is the original manufacturer of Longfield Brand
CV joints and axles that the Toyota community has come to
rely on for strength, reliability and customer service. The spirit
and enthusiasm of Bobby Long is alive today and continues to
flourish in the products that RCV now offers factory direct. All
RCV Toyota products are USA made to the exact specifications
pioneered by Bobby and RCV engineers. The use of 300M
internal components separates RCV from the competition. The
result is the Strongest Axles on the Planet®. Please be aware
RCV Performance branded Toyota 30 spline sets are the only
authentic product true to form with the Bobby Long tradition.
These shafts are backed by RCV Performance's "No Questions
Asked Limited Lifetime Warranty!" RCV is also your source for
CV joint reconditioning which will bring your worn CV's back to
factory specs, as well as custom axles made to order..

Anyone have recommendations for local gun shops in Lafayette? I haven't dealt with anyone yet and sometimes there are shady people in the business.

Todd

The only one I've dealt with, I wouldn't recommend, but luckily they shut the doors a while back. If you are willing to travel, Bayou Teche Guns in Arnaudville has done some nice work on my Father-in-Law and Brother-in-Law's guns. What are you wanting to get done?

I'm really just looking to buy, but I want to make sure I'm dealing with someone honest and willing to work with me. Being that all my current rifles and shotgun are in Michigan it just doesn't seem worth the hassle to try and transport them.
