Very nice!

Thank you gents. Its gonna be like getting new legs wheeling a 80 as its so much more rig but I'm willing to spend some seat time getting to know it in Sicily before the big events :D Mike where can I find that bumper with the holes in it for the exaust.

Sorry to here about the wreck, glad to see that you are still with us tho. It'll be much better when you find the 80. I still have not found that guys number yet but I did not forget.

Thank you bud. I hope none you ever have to experience that. Its scary as hell. Your glad to be alright but at the same time its painful to see your Toy mangled. I didn't sleep much that night. I love the skinnies and the factory look but I feel if I had the wider wagon wheels the wider foot print could have helped me keep it on the ground but you can't go around waiting for idiots to pull out in front of you. I just keep going over what you could have done different. :hhmm: I'm just very thankful the kids or anyone else wasn't with me. I know if it stays it'll be getting a metaltech family cage. Worth its weight in gold.

Glad you are ok man, how bad is the 40?

Thanks. The hard top will be lost, driver door, and fender but the tub and the rest didn't get a scratch. Its hard to believe. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Was looking on line for a rig like Jerome's and came across this build...

Looks like your sliders helped

.....The not so funny part of the story is she never even stopped to say thank you. ....

I've been thinking about this- Isn't this leaving the scene of an accident (which she caused) and a felony?

I t-boned a chick in an early 80's mustang with my first 40 a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away....

Bent the frame, broke the front engine mounts off at the block which I had just spent $900 getting engine work done on it :crybaby: I had no place to store it or part it out (also the days before Ih8mud & pirate anyways), so it got junked

yeah, but since she wasn't "involved" she'd say that she either didn't see it, didn't hear it or didn't pull out that close to him. Nothing would happen to her (although the RIGHT thing to do would be to stay there). Don't know about the legality of that part. Sux. If he plowed into her and she left, that would be a big no no.

Man does that ever suck Jason and the thought of it getting junked, ouch.

The sliders did help, the wide roof of the hardtop and sliders kept it away from the tub.

On the felony I would hope so, any folks causing a severe accident and running should be held accountable.

Congrats Mike on the purchase of the 70!

Bring it on...

I'm gonna call shotgun since I don't have sh!t to ride in for the moment..
