I post it for sale because I bought it threw my company as an investment so I could write the purchase and maintenance off on the company.(Per our CPA) If you will notice the price is substantially high and I do not anticipate getting 31.5k for it, but if someone offers me what it is listed for I would take the $$ and run. This is what happened on my 1977 bj40 I had listed late last year. I had it priced way above market and sure enough someone made the offer so I let it go.

I really hope no one makes me an offer on the troopie, I really love it.

Gotcha. I can see that too if someone is brave enough to offer you 31.5 I'd take it an run myself  right here to MUD and buy 3 cruisers. Check out the classifieds tab at the top. There is a HJ47 with a 2F in Atlanta that looks like your Troopy but not as clean on the inside. There are some folks here that wake up and comb through there to look at the new cruisers 4-Sale. :hhmm: Some sick people

I have been checking them out lately...I just don't know what I will end up doing. The 40 I had was a 72, no A/C, 3 speed, and I'm not sure if I'd really want that again. I guess I am getting soft haha. That 70 at the SCC was pretty sweet though. Might just wait a couple of years until they can be imported more easily... I want a LHD though, I don't think a right hand would work for me.

edit: What I do need to do is make some wrenching sessions. One thing about my old one was it had some decent rust behind the rear quarter in the fender well, and along the back sill. I know anything i would be interested in, price wise, will probably be rusted so I'd like to learn how to repair that stuff.

Bucket List... Good flick.

But I'm older than most of you and closer to death.

This too, I heard. This was a birthday gift to myself. I might curl up in my Cruiser tomorrow when I get it back and read it cover to cover.

Need to know where to go to have a transmission rebuilt here in Lafayette for an Fj 80?

Mike can your friend Mr Kegly do this kind of work?

There is car show this weekend in Rayne, La and it is open to all vehicles. I will probably enter my truck and if any others enter maybe we could park together. I have not attended any of their events but they have more info @ Welcome to Midnight Fantasies! :steer:

Hide the truck from Landry... the Trailblazer sold and he's on the prowl. He and Theriot have "pocket on fire" syndrome. I'm living vicariously though them!

...although I gotta # for a guy in North California... :D

Anyone wanna buy the Red Truck? lol ;)

I had some work on an integra done at ATC on Bertrand, I'd go there again.

Same here they did several clutch jobs on my Evo, and swapped in a new tranny. I ran a track day out at No Problem Raceway one Sunday and he was doing laps in his Porsche GT3 he also races a drag car and couple other things. Cool guy to talk with.

Was looking to see if he had any pics of his cars no luck, here is the website.

Thanks Lance he's got some nice rigs on there. I need a traveling rig so I'm looking for a 80 model 94 - 97 factory locked with under 200K in mileage. I prefer the 40th edition if I can be picky but there are quite a few folks looking for these that I've noticed. I should have snapped up that 94 here in town for a steal at $6900 and stored it somewhere for a couple weeks. I had doubts that this Trailblazer was going to sell :bang:
