Oh man am I jealous now! I can't wait to check it out :) Congratulations Mike!

...

I have a Chihuahua whose name is "Cruiser" (Will named him) you can HAVE.

WOW, I MEAN WOW! Congratulations! That looks like an awesome score!
:bounce::bounce2:
The club has a great mix of cruisers:cheers:

...I've always been a huge fan of diesel. Also, one of my customers just started a huge Biodiesel plant. I'm seriously moving that direction.

Side note: When MUD went down this morning, it was super funny to see all the Addicts (self included) flock over to Pirate....especially hilarious was Jason's comment about Woody cutting the wrong wire...

For those that may be interested, I've successfully gotten the DVD version of the Toyota catalogue to function under XP: Thought this might be nice for a "shop" computer.

Mike you are the man. I just wish I had a shop to put a computer in. Looks like that will be next year some time, if I get the wife to stop spending money on the new house.

Wow, Larry sorry to hear about the 40. If it helps, I read here that you layed her over on the road and I didn't see pics at first. I thought it would have been a lot worse in my mind. Very sorry to hear that. Let me know what I can do to help. You have tons of members here that would love to return a favor for the Prez.

Mike, NOTHING like the sound of a turbo! Awesome and congrats!

Ouch :frown: Is it running any stronger with the adjustments and new plugs?

Running worse after the adjustments. She coughs and spits at me every now and then. It never did that before. Other than that, it runs pretty good. Just got home from Grand Isle today(131 miles) and only burned 8.4 gallons. Average speed was 65mph. Strange.I Should know more next week.

Are you sure the top is a gonner? fron the pictures doesnt look that bad. I mean the glass isnt even busted out or anything.

Course like mostthings I guess it is worse in person.

Thank you much Isaac. I appreciate all the support I received this week. It ate at me all week so I worked on it a little bit everynight this week. I took it out today on the road an made me feel much better. It drove great lost some gear oil out of the axle vent I had worried I broke something in the front axle with all the oil but topped it off and cleaned it up put in 4WD and it was fine. I let out a big grin going down the road. Other than the fender it looked like I hit a tree on the trail.

The top is a goner, the pass side was perfect but the drivers panel for the hardtop was bent. Not one glass broke. Drivers mirror caved the driver door in but couldn't see it much in the pictures with that good wax job :D I'll be parting out the good parts to the hartop and doors this week. She'll be topless from here on out and will save up for a good family cage and one of those custom trail covers. :)

Are the doors good candidates for half doors?:D

We the the people of the topless nation will welcome you my son. Just don't drink the coolaid, some guy peeed in it.

Enjoyed seeing you guys today. I uploaded the pics that I had. Thanks to Cam for taking a few of them.

Wow... sorry I missed the Cannon sighting :flipoff2:

However, I did catch a glimpse of a Schwing!

Sorry for the short stay today.

It was good to make a meeting after what seems like an eternity away. I was sorry to hear about Larry's 40 and then see the pics here. Luckily, it wasn't worse with respect to the damage and certainly Larry is very lucky to have escaped unscathed himself. That is the true good fortune!!! I know I've been kinda absent here lately but I will find the time to help if there is anything that pure grunt labor can accomplish relative to the work that will need to be done on the vehicle as a result of this accident. Also, I will soon try to post directions to my camp for the crawfish boil under the events thread.
